I hate seeing Victor Martinez like this. After what he endured for 7 months it's just a breath of fresh air to see him so happy and ready to take the world by storm.

Victor is a mentally strong dude. That is the most important thing in any man's arsenal.

My question is how did he go from doing every injectable under the sun to zero gear, and not turn to a mushy puddle of flesh and bone? Dude has crazy genetics

Dude his voice got so much softer after being clean from gear lol there is a distinct difference in the tone and pitch in his voice

He wasn't in prison. He was in a detaining center at the deportation facility from what I understand. And from what I've heard and read there was no gym in there. Also a convict coming out jacked is no where near what an Olympia contestant looks like. Actually Victor was probably bigger than those guys coming out. Just compared to his old self he was small.

Victor is awesome. He wasn't that small coming out. He was still jacked just not top 15 in the world jacked.

Keep in mind this was RIGHT after a competition - and he was restricted with such low calories. That and gear levels dropping to 0 with no PCT is extremely brutal mentally BY ITSELF, let alone being in a jail with no weights.

Victor is one of my fvourite athletes of all time, what would be amazing would be to see some sort of periodic video journal of him from now till he gets back on the stage, like what Zack Khan did for Nutrex with his Road to Recovery blogs

there is no they only gave inmates 800 calories a day. They would lose massive amounts of weight.  He also says he ate 200-300 grams of carbs per day. That would be 800 to 1200 calories per day just in carbs.  I don't think there is a food that would provide you 800 calories while only giving you 15 grams of protein.

Yeah. Must have been the lack of "calories".
