Like he said dont rush. Clean it and when you stick if you feel a pain or the muscle twitches, slowly pull out change needle, and restick. It is easy to hit a nerve in the delt.

I never did an injection but I had a pinched nerve and I couldn't flex my left arm the muscles just didn't work and atrophy started right away crazy. It healed up and the muscle started working again and came back thankfully. I tried to bench 135 and couldn't get it off my chest my left side nerve would not send the message to the muscle to contract and the nerve hurt like he'll too
