Mine had serious issues, but I sent it back to the factory, and it's been as reliable as the ammo it's fed. Worth noting, though, that I have three friends with Taurus TX22s that are a little less ammo picky and haven't needed work done.

I think the 502 only makes sense if your daily carry gun is a 509 or 45. If not then just get the Taurus 22 for half the price. Pretty sure their mags are cheaper too so that’s always a benefit.

the reason that fn went with 15 rounds is probably more along the training side of things. people who carry a fn can get this and have alot of similarities to train with for cheaper. including reloads and such.

Personally prefer the TX22, mine has a OSight s, OLight baldr s, and a dead air mask. Holds 18 in 2 of my mags and 21 in the other two. Shoots flawlessly.
