Coleman CT200U-EX with 60-tooth sprocket goes 60 MPH?
Installed a 60-tooth sprocket and a 10-tooth clutch on the Predator 212-powered Coleman CT200U-EX minibike to see if it would do 60 MPH.

Sweet video Black 66! I have the same bike, setup the same way but with a mild built 224, nibbi, and 20” tires. Havent done a top speed yet, still breaking in the motor. But it does 50mph no problem at lower rpms lol.

I wanted to Iet you know how much I enjoy your content. I also like other channels like Cars and Cameras, Red Beards Garage etc...
But your content seems more realistic for the average person. I'd like to see you do a project on building a very reliable bike while still having a little spice for fun.

Thank you for the video. I just bought one and put a built Tillotson 212 on it. It definitely smokes the clutch on a five to one gear ratio. Going to go with six to one gear ratio. Probably end up putting a torque converter on it. It is running 64 mph now. I will probably gain speed. You have to have a long road to get up to 64 mph

I put a 60 tooth on mine, had to buy a pre stretch motorcycle number 420 chain. The regular chain would rip into. I weigh almost 200.

Do you ever run the jack shaft system, and why or why not?
In your opinion what's the best system, jack shaft, torque converter, or straight chain?

Those clutches can be modified for a racing set up...Just by cutting the pads making 4 pads and clipping the spring...Making the clutch open later so you can get the rpm's up to launch the bike out of the hole...

If I build my ct200u-ex to go 90mph what’s the best gearing for that size bike ?

Would love to see you make a torque converter setup as fast as possible, maybe bring the baja warrior back?

I have the same bike and same set up. Im hitting 60mph but my rear tire is really loud. I was told those stock tires can't handle any speed over 40.

If I put a slide carb do I have to remove the govenor? Will it go passed 3600 rpm?

I've always sucked at understanding how the ratios work but I just swapped out my stock 50 tooth for a lower 46 tooth just cause with the 50 tooth i was hitting 50 mph on the dot and i wanted to get over that 50 mph mark and figured a 46 tooth would do the job. I had no idea a larger tooth sprocket like a 60 tooth would be able to go just as fast as a 50 tooth or even faster. If we were neighbors I'd just pay you to set my bike up to do 60 and keep the torque at the same time. I gotta 265 Cam in mine as well but never saw 60 mph that's for sure lol. Also I originally planned on putting a 8 or 9 tooth sprocket on the front to keep some of the torque with that 46 tooth sprocket but i can't get them to fit on the jackshaft. Only the 10 tooth or higher will fit on it.

Hi black. No chain tensioner? I’d be worried about chain stretch and coming off. You must use a high quality chain.
