Pacey loved Joey for who she was and wanted to be with her. Dawson loved the idea of loving Joey and wanted her to be with him. That is the difference.

Remember when Dawson told Joey she was “free” and she left him. Pacey doesn’t think of her as property, instead telling her she’s off the hook, so she don’t have to worry about him anymore, and she finally gave into her feelings and gave him another go.

hate and love relationship .pacey and joey were not really like each but as the show goes on they developed and loved each other more intensely ...ilove this show as much as i loved pacey and joey ..they made the show ..this lockdown ...i'm happy and inspired that i find this dawson creek show ...i viewed it everyday ti inspire me ...just like my own lovestory ...i fell more in love with my husband everyday and even more now ...he's 62 yrs old and i'm 61 and still our love for each other more stronger than ever....thank you joey and pacey 🥰
