Railfanning in New Hyde Park, Long Island, 1/30/2015

*Note: This is my first time using Windows Movie Maker, and i dont know why its boxed like it is, if someone can tell me how to make this full screen and not boxed like it is, please help me.

This video was shot at 3 different crossings in New Hyde Park, Long Island, New York

This is my first time filming here, and i gotta say its a great place to film trains.

Even though this is mostly a passenger line, a freight train does use this line, the New York & Atlantic Railroad hauls local freight up and down this line.

There are 3 crossings here.

Crossing Info:

Crossing #1 (Covert Road):

Signal on right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a WC Hayes mechanical bell

Signal on Left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a WC Hayes mechanical bell

Both pedestrain signals have WC Hayes gate motor. The one on the left has 1 pair of Safetran LED lights, while the one on the right has has 2 pairs of lights.

Crossing #2 (South 12th Street):

Signal on right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a WC Hayes mechanical bell

Signal on Left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a WC Hayes mechanical bell

Both pedestrain signals have WC Hayes gate motor. The one on the left has 1 pair of Safetran LED lights, while the one on the right has has 2 pairs of lights.

Crossing #3 (New Hyde Park Road)

Signal # 1: 1 MI cantilever with 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights.

Signal #2: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights, a Safetran Gate motor and a WC Hayes mechanical bell

Signal #3: Another MI cantilever with 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.

Signal #4: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights, a Safetran Gate motor and a WC Hayes mechanical bell

Both pedestrian signals have WC Hayes gate motor. The one on the right has 1 pair of lights, while the one on the left has 2 pairs of lights

I have done windows movie maker videos before and I agree. Windows movie maker does sound like crap like my mom's 2003 Honda pilot (My mom used to have an 05' but she downgraded. Don't know why.).
