My lowest point in life helped me to come to the end of myself. I realised I was nothing and I couldn't help myself.

This is exactly what happened to me. It started where I stopped drinking that was 4 maybe 5 yrs ago. Then I stopped smoking tree, then I stopped cussing and then I dropped any other habit. Now I feel better and I am happier then I have even been. I wake up happy and I feel blessed. I can feel tears coming in my eyes, but I am letting the lord handle my life the way he sees fit because if I lean on my own understanding I will fail miserably. And Isaiah I’d like to take a moment to truly thank you from the bottom of my heart because your lessons are helping me to understand.
Also I can feel my flesh tugging at me but I just let God handle that because I only need the lord😃

Reflection led to the realization that suffering was the blessing. Because if I was to remove any element of suffering from my life up to the point where I found Christ, I would never have found him. I would still be living in the flesh, blind and destined for hell.
