The truck you’re showing isn’t even available yet.

I love my 2016 Ram 1500, no major problems, still looks new and it was affordable. I will buy another one if the price was right but it doesn’t look like they will be affordable ever again but overpriced is happening with all the trucks.

My 2016 Ram Limited had no issues with the leather interior whatsoever. No wear issues after 8 years. I have seen some dash problems with some of the 2019s on line.

You left out that the tires wear out and will need replacement--some even before 100, 00 miles...and these trucks use gas and you have to keep filling them up! Rather stupid video.

I have a 3500 and absolutely would buy another one> One of the best i owned yet> pulls my 40 foot fifth wheel like easy. Most hotshots use this set up.No CP4 time bomb like on the Fords

Well our 2021 Ford F150 had issues right off the lot and endless recalls. And the Ram rides a lot better than the ford.

If these infrequent issues are enough for you to say to not buy a Ram then you should say also to not buy any pickups available. All have issues.

You overlooked the widespread camshaft failures. It's almost legendary at this point.

I put 180k miles on my 2018 Ram 2500 4x4 and only problems I had were fuel pump dead at 68k miles, Heater core plugged at 145k miles (My fault for not doing coolant services) and it had a clogged radiator (again our fault for not servicing the coolant like we should have). That was a 2018 Tradesman 6.4l HEMI the Oil was serviced like it should have and had no issues. It was worked super hard with lots of heavy hauling down oil lease roads and lots of slow driving at 4-5mph spraying herbicide with a boom. Lots of long idle times were required as well. Out of our fleet we only had one that had the Camshaft lifter failure that resulted in needing a new engine. My experience with these trucks is they are good until they reach the 140k mile mark then they begin to have issues pop-up. If people serviced them properly they would probably last longer, but as work trucks they get abused more. I just got a 2024 Ram 2500 4x4 6.4l work truck to replace it and there are changes I hate so far. I HATE having the gear shifter off the steering column and as a dial on the dash. My old truck it was on the column like most have been for decades the 4x4 shift was a dial on the dash that was best set up. New truck 4x4 was moved back to floor with traditional shifter I did like the 4x4 as a dial it was easier to quickly swap into 4 high on the fly if I needed to do so. Reaching down to the floor shift takes longer. I also prefer the old style Dash set up. Time will tell if this 2024 is better or not. It rides better, but only slightly so I prefer the old suspension for a work truck. The coil suspension would be ok on a half ton, but on a 3/4 ton or 1-ton it is not better IMO. When I look at the GM engine failures and the Ford engine designs I prefer the Ram as of right now.

I have a 2010 ram2500. It's beginning to develop rust. No one can tell, until I show them to people. Other than that, I don't have any of the problems as describe

You should not buy one because there are three new ones in my neighborhood already. It's hard to find parking now.

7 reasons to buy the ram warlock 1500 classic: 1. No ridiculously large information system that's just going to go bad in the future with electronic failures. Including lots of knobs for safe driving instead of looking through a unsafe menu touch screen. Controls are super easy and instant access without taking your eyes off the road 2. Reliable PentaStar motor. 3. No ridiculous levels of sensors and extra unnecessary pickup truck gadgets found in the higher trims or other trucks. 4. Lowest price for a full size truck in America. 5. Built like a truck for people who need a truck not a glorified high sitting luxury car. 6. 6 ft 4 in box which is a perfect blend between the pointless 5 ft box and the always not so necessary 8-ft box. 7. Easy to maintain with mostly old school mechanics and accessibility.

My 2023 1500 limited longhorn lesther looks like pressed cardboard. Leather seats seem much thinner, less quality than my 2018 Longhorn 2500. Navigatoon software is tomtom, I thought that was out of business many years ago. Its terrible, won't show mph unless you set a destination. My dealer changed the tires to Firestone Destination 35" and did a level before I got it, so thats nice but it gives false mpg, mph, and total mileage. And the dealer won't program it for these tires- and they have a security lock on the OBD so you can't get software to change it - unless you get the Y cable to bypass the trucks OBD.

You forgot to add that Dodge trucks get dirty the more you drive them for some reason.

How about Ram’s disregard and lack of respect for the “TRADESMAN” Trim Level ???
MULTI-FUNCTION” tailgate should be available as a”STANDALONE” Option on the
“TRADESMAN” trim level !!!!
A truck customer can get a Chevy “SILVERADO” “WT” with the “MULT-FLEX” Tailgate

I just bought my first and last Ram. After driving it for a day, I am ready to get rid of it. It does not ride smooth, it shakes at highway speeds and has sloppy steering response. Really disappointed! It’s such a good looking truck, but it drives awful 👎
