I spent the day fly fishing and exploring the World famous Tongariro river in New Zealand with local trout fishing guide, Brian Wilson. Our day started with a bit of exploring trying to find some fish without much luck. After that Brian took the lead and got is into fish straight away. We finished at another of his spots where I proceeded to hook and loose a bunch of fish, only landing one. It was still a great day out.

Lovely pool, your mate has the sweet spot, but the left bank is easier to fish from and easier wading. Love your speeded up reel thumping and your long range release! There are some beautiful strong fish in the river this year, not the big runs yet but every fish a beauty. Ja Ja Ja...

Great clip thanks for sharing.
One of the guys in our group was really struggling with his casting so I put my rod down to give him some pointers. First cast with his rod and I landed a 4lb rainbow lol.
