I like HeatTech for fall days without much physical activity (like just sitting at a desk). If you sweat, though, it doesn't evaporate and it gets stinky. And it retains the stink even though washing. Merino wool is the best investment for winter layering. You can wear it for days and it won't smell, and sweat evaporates easily so it doesn't stay wet under your clothes. My favorite brand is Woolx. Icebreaker is also good.

If someone knows brand, I'd rather want jeans with warm inner layer.
Like Lindex have for children. Why no one makes such for adults. Also jeans for children have possibility to adjust fit with built in elastic.

Everyone keeps talking about uniqlo heat tech - I agree that it's nice how thin the pieces are, but THE PILLING I experienced with every single peace... And it's not much warmer than literally any other layering piece. Also, it's polyester as well - so super stinky...
