This lovely gentleman has a vague understanding of Ukraine and its history. He doesn’t know basic geography either. Crimea historically was Tatar, and changed hands multiple times. Briefly it was incorporated into Soviet Union, but it’s always known to have been Ukrainian rather than Russian.

Whether we like to acknowledge it or not, the Europeans and Americans have been a little too selfish. How could they let Ukraine run out of ammunitions? How are they not providing enough Patriot air defense systems (and they have them)??

I understand Germany's war guilt but at times it seems misguided and it makes it that much worse that their (and our collective) inaction could lead to the next big one which if you think they have war guilt now, imagine how much they'd have if they played a role even accidentally in ushering in a new global war seems how we have them to thank for the last two.

What a lot of people, including Trump, are failing to understand is that money for the Ukrainian war effort doesn't go directly to Ukraine. Most of it goes to American arms manufacturers. And that helps the American economy. It's only Trump's ties to Putin that are holding things up. Most real Republicans actually want to help Ukraine and wanted to all along.

Is this Chamberlains grandson? Ukraine have said they want to liberate their land, letting Russia keep the occupied territories is a victory for Russia and a guaranteed way to ensure they will come back for the rest at a later date once they’ve regrouped and built up more military capabilities. The western economies dwarf Russia 25 to 1, victory is possible only with political will to give Ukraine weapons, and lots of them. Russia has more reason to leave than Ukraine does, they are fighting a foreign war whereas Ukraine is defending the homeland.
