I did some high-quantity production work on the Onefinity around Christmas, and it worked great! I had a few pieces pop off too, so I changed my cut-out tool path to leave 0.1" to keep everything connected while they were being cut out and then come back and cut that last 0.1" when there aren't as strong of sideways forces anymore. It gave everything a lot more strength so they didn't all rely on the tape as much.
I don't know if you tried that or not (or if you even need to), but it helped me a ton.
