Making a ton of bottle openers on my Onefinity Journeyman X-50 CNC machine. Even though its a hobby CNC router, this machine can batch out product (if you don't mess things up...) Overall it was a pretty easy cnc project! Woodworking on a cnc router is great!

I don't have experience with the Shapeoko CNC machine or the Xcarve CNC, but I do know that the Onefinity CNC machine is awesome!

What's better than roses on your piano? Tulips on your organ.

Anyone who has worked with a cnc can feel your pain. You went from around 300 of them to less than half that. Took it like a champ! Loved the end product as well

0:13 the first video I've literally LOL at in quite a while. Not laughing at you. I'm laughing because it happens to all of us!

Love that you show your mistakes and what you learned from them, but more importantly, I don't feel half as bad about myself about how cluttered my garage workshop is. 😉 Keep the great content coming!

Hi Hamilton, How fun! We absolutely learn from our mistakes. So much detail on such a small item and looked pain staking at times. But… you persevered and finished like a tru champion. Very impressed. Great job as always. Thanks, ~ Al

Great video. Not only do you show the learning process of a project but I appreciate the cinematography of your videos.

Joke: Working in a mirror factory is something I can totally see myself doing.

I know its late but I used a lot of oxalic acid to clean carbon on Lichtenberg wood burnings, You did fine, just need to rinse it after you use it, probably a bucket for the acid and then 2 buckets of clear water. Its really not going to do much on ash anyway since ash has very little tannins in it. Love your channel!

This was a real emotional roller coaster.

My favorite one line joke: I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Hamilton your sense of humor is refreshing. Enjoyed your project. Give some thought to a three out pattern that may get you more pieces per board if the board is wide enough. God Bless!

I absolutely love your video! Thanks to your mom's post, I got to see the talented southern side of the family. One of my favorite parts, was when you danced the little jig while waiting on the saw. Love the bottle openers, great idea! Keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to more of your videos. I'm sure you get some of your delightful sense of humor from your grandad, he's was an amazing man. 😁 Thanks for the smiles and giggles!!❤️

Your video was awesome, really enjoyed it. Prime example of trial and error. LOL! That's me made over. I'm really delighted that you showed some errors you made, kinda brings everything to the realization that everybody is prone to making mistakes. Thanks!

New subscriber here. Live the idea and we've all been there with messing up a tool path, though I'm really glad I can say I haven't done it in 146 times lol props to you for showing the good, bad, and the ugly.

Not sure if anybody else has commented. With oxalic acid you have to rinse them off with water afterwards. You rinse off all the crystals. I don’t know if the color is what you want it but you can’t leave that on there. I know you know that but generally oxalic acid let it dry then rinse it off with water. Let them dry then finish.

From what I got from the video only the magnet holes and the bottle opener holes were to small but the outside cut was good. If that's the case you can adjust them in your design software and reload the g-code. You won't need to zero the machine as long as you don't shut it down or change the bit. Another thing if the outside cut is good just remove that in your design software. I have done this before on my journeyman and it worked out great. That will save you time. I hope this helps.
