Gardein Taste Test | Which vegan meats are the best!?

We're diving head first into a gardein taste test and buying a bunch of their vegan beef, pork, fish, and chicken products to taste test. Which products are your favourites?

My fave Gardein product is the stuffed turk’y with gravy that has been part of our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for a few years now.

Gardein is such a great and consistent brand. I like (or love) everything I’ve tried except for the beef tips. I’m not sure if you have them in Canada but the Ultimate Chickn Fillet is their best product in my opinion (with the fish coming in 2nd).

My favourites are the fishless filets and the beefless tips. I make a dip for the filets with vegan mayo, Strubs dill brine, and dill weed. I microwave the tips for a minute before frying, otherwise I find they don't cook well enough. If I'm adding them to soup I'll wait until the soup is ready to put in the fridge. They get soggy again if they're kept in warm liquid for too long. As for the frozen... stuff. I was told that the "meat" in the frozen meals was an older form of the product that had only been released in the States, I'm presuming the company that bought Gardein but can't find anything online. I'm also assuming that everyone only tries it once.

Gardine products are so many of their products i like. The fish, the sausage, The chicken nuggets with the orange sauce those are my favorites.

I LOVE Gardein products!!! My boyfriend (non vegan) buys the filet fish for me but it's for him instead... lollll ! That's means a lot!!!! My favorite? Hard to tell! Love the fish filet and also the chicken stick (in a wrap... OMG!!!). Thanks again for this fun video! It's good to see you again! You seem to have so much fun together :-)

Great taste test! The fish fillets freaked me out too in the same good way. I love the Italian Sau’age bowl. Pricey and not very filling, but great flavor. Completely not related question for Kat ... do you like the bottom drawer freezer?

I was never a fan of fish before I went vegan, but I do love their fish sticks. I haven't tried the crab cakes. The burgers are usually on sale at least once a week at Fresh Co, so I buy them pretty often since they are usually $4 on sale. I think that's half of what Beyond Meat usually is. Gardien has done such a great job with making almost everything!

Very nice review. I like those kind of videos because when I buy them at the store ( high price ) I dont know if im gonna like them / the look of them and I dont want to waste

If I don't make my own seitan turkey I like the Garden turkey best for Thanksgiving. I also enjoy their canned soups.

The fish is really good just need oldbay. The turkey needs seasoning but I buy them all the time

Mm love their fishy stuff too. But! The sol cuisine filets are eeeeven better. I also always have the original sausage patties and the 🍊 chickn is my favourite for making a salad. The extra sauce makes a good dressing.

I really want to try the turkey cutlet!! I am was bad at the other day but at the other day to go on a Caesar salad but I purchased the Buffalo tenders from filroast instead.

I hate the chicken burger but I do like the breakfast sausage and wings can't wait to try the fish and turkey

These vegan products are a lot better than they were in the 90s and early 2000s back then everything tasted like cardboard. And when you wanted ground meat you were stuck with nut meat in a can.

The fish one is my favorite. Maybe try the Ultimate crispy chicken filets?
