Fixing Everything Wrong with my Cheap Nissan Truck

After picking up this Nissan Truck for an absolute steal, I need to fix some of the issues that made it so cheap in the first place. I've set myself a low budget for all the parts and work but can I resolve all the issues and still have the ultimate BARGAIN Truck???

The video where you cleaned it was a stunner...how some people can live in filth with no regard amazes me

I have seen people tack weld a washer and nut on a snap bolt then use the nut as the bolt head to wrench them out.

Lay a nut on top the broken bolt then tack weld inside the nut to bolt, turn the nut and bolt out.

If you have a snapped off bolt and a welder next time just weld a new head to the stud and back it out. less heat into the body panel or frame = less rust in the future.
Love the do it yourself approach you have keep up the fantastic work.

Great video. Coming along nicely.
I used to love scrap yards back in the 90s when I could buy all kinds of crap for my cars

Spray the bed with bedliner paint. Works great!

It’s these small cheap repairs that make such a difference in a neglected vehicle. This is fun to watch, even more so than someone rebuilding an exotic car. Great job on polishing that turd!

Give the chassi a coat of anti gravel paint. Helps preventing rust.

I've sent so many of these to the scrappy/nissan buyback scheme due to snapped chassis, seeing as you have your kids in it, please carefully inspect the chassis in the area from the rear of the cab to the center of the rear axle. from what I seen in the video yours looks OK, but please inspect it :)

I can’t afford the ferraris but the navara is just what I can afford👌🏼. These small fixes seems to exactly what mostly plagues these rides anyway. Thanks mate 🙏🏽

The first video gave me an idea where that bloody virus started.

to drill the broken bolts out you use left handed drill bits and a right angled drill

That’s a brilliant idea with the bin clicker thing for the sunglasses holder! Great video

Good like your local breakers are very good as you can go in and remove parts yourself at sensible prices as well. Not like my local yard as not allowed in plus parts all expensive plus vat on used ?

Very, very cute kids. I'm sure their encouragement helped with this build. 😊

I had a 57 plate aventurer. Had all the bells and whistles - loved it. Have an np300 now - miss it a bit!

black carbon fibre for the tailgate it hides the scratches well, p.d.r on the rear passengers side panel and your truck will look epic

Had one of these back in 05, threw a rod through the sump at 80 mph on the motroway, Truck was only a year old with 40k so Nissan replaced the motor FOC, seem to remember something on Watchdog a year or two later about it being a common fault, think they also have quite weak chassis too.
