This is an innovative and unique baitcasting reel from 13 Fishing that anglers in Texas have fallen in love with.

Baitcasting reels are becoming more and more popular for inshore saltwater anglers, especially wade fishermen down in Texas.

13 Fishing took the angler into account when designing the Concept TX 2 with its drag strength and audible drag system.

Not to mention this lightweight reel packs the ultimate punch!

I just got into 13 fishing products, with a 7' light spinning rod and a 1000 real, can't remember the specs on it, but I absolutely love it. I use 6lb braid, a 8lb leader, and I use it mainly for crappie, mangrove snapper and sheephead. A good size snapper or sheephead puts on a really good show with that super light gear. I'm super impressed with 13 fishing products, and I am looking for a good 7' medium baitcast rod.

I’d much rather have a smooth consistent 12lbs of drag than 22lbs in my baitcaster, you can always thumb the spool for extra drag if needed

I am landlocked in Iowa but I like having the clicker personally cuz I am a guy that likes nice stuff but only have a few reels so i can use it for musky or catfish with strong drag too. I have two A3 bait casters and i am pretty impressed.

Copped one yesterday left hand 6.8 ratio. First time using a baitcaster and I'm happy. Have had a few birds nests but that's me learning. I know when I fk it up😂 when it goes it launches. Using on a 6, 6 shimano curado rod with 50p line. (Murry cod setup) I like the feel it's very smooth. Keen to catch a cod on it to see how it handles. I feel the big one might make it struggle a bit

WHAAAAT? A drag clicker? I’m sold. One thing has kept me from switching to a bait cast reel and it’s that I love to hear the drag scream when I’m hooked up. Now I just need to save the $. Nice video thanks for the info

drag on a bait caster is different than a spinning reel. Yes they are the same but the way it works is different. A bait caster with 15lb of drag will feel very similar to a spinning reel with 25lb of drag. Idk how to describe it but what I can say is 20lb of drag out of a low profile baitcaster like that will hoss in some big fish no problem. I just wish the drag material was carbon fiber instead of polymer. Curious to see how the drag holds as it heats up

The Gentleman said " 25 LB of drag " but when you click the link in the description the salt strong site in the specs says 20LB.

Hey mate, is this a 300 or 200 size reel? Cheers

I'll give one thing to 13fishing, they do marketing hype better than anyone else, but bushings will never spin as freely, smoothly or for as long as half decent bearing. Can't fight physics, even with a flashy paint job.

Looks good minus the awful drag clicker 😖

25lb of drag is unnecessary inshore. Bull reds can be had on 4 or 5 lbs.
