photoshop Tutorial: How to Replace a sky in photoshop cs5

here's a tutorial on replacing a sky, this is different than a normal sky replacement using the lasso or quick selection tool. hope this helps you out! enjoy

Thanks. I looked at several techniques and I liked yours the best. You made it sound easy. It was. Worked great for me. Since my background had some buildings in it, I just had to remove the selection from them and it worked great for the sky. Always wanted an easy way to do this.

Very nice. The method you increased contrast with is much better than crunching the black all the way in levels as other tuorials suggest. Deleting the sky once selected kills the white fringe. I like to make the background layer a mask after you delete the sky so I can manipulate it too. Thanks!
