Not only has mankind created opera that sounds this ethereal but we have combined it with imagery that elevates it all to a higher plain. God bless Terrence Malick and all who get him.

Why am I crying? This makes me feel both immeasurably insignificant and immensely powerful at the same time. I love it.

Humans can be pure evil but we're also capable of acts born from endless love, forgiveness and strength.

J‘ai écouté cette magnifique pièce un million de fois depuis mais je chérie encore le moment où je l’ai entendue pour la première fois, alors que je ne m‘y attendais pas. Magnifique!

This may be one of the most beautiful songs ever written...

Some context for non-music people; Zbigniew Preisner wrote this for his friend, a Czechoslovakian filmmaker, after his passing.
Requiem Mass's are dark symphonies written for those who have passed, by those who loved them, as a work of mourning and respect. The final movement in these is a Lacrimosa, which is focussed entirely on mourning; essentially, it is the musical equivalent of a goodbye. Preisner's love for his friend was as intense as this song.

In short, Zbigniew Preisner really loved his friend.
I only hope I can ever love someone that much someday.

Who is that ridiculously crazy-talented soprano? She routinely hits a high C as clear as a bell. Wow!

This is from the composer who never had formal training in music! Unbelievable!

This must be my funeral song. I want THIS version played once I leave this earth.

Edit: I hope my comment has reached the hearts of everyone who has seen it!
