WHY IS THE INTERVIEWER IS ASKING YOU THE QUESTION, WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES?
They are asking you the interview question for two reasons.

REASON #1. They want to find out whether the strengths you have will be useful in the role, and more importantly, whether they will ADD VALUE to their company. Remember, hiring someone costs money each month, so if your strengths are going to help the company see a positive return on their investment, you are far more likely to get hired!

REASON #2. They want to see whether you are HONEST about your weakness, and also whether the weakness you do have is going to impact negatively on your performance in the role. So, when answering the difficult interview question, what are your strengths and weaknesses, do not give a weakness that is a match for the job you are applying for! Worst still, do not say you don’t have any weaknesses!
