Thank you, for taking the time to use heroic fathers in Disney films to honor us. I wish Disney weren't so swept up with their push for female heroes that they sweep guys under the rug with nothing for boys to draw from. I'm glad someone took the time to honor us (fathers) with the same energy used in Mother's day every year (yet many times that energy would be M.I.A. when it's our time). Before these Disney Princess & Princes proved their potential in stories, we (fathers) were their teachers, their rock for support, their friend, and protector. For "greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for a friend." Let alone lay down his life for his house.

We may not always be heroes, but we are not fools. But as for me, I will continue to be a hero to my son so he can learn to be courageous as us fathers. Never forget us.
