All these tech giants are monopolies which violate the 1st and 4th amendments daily.

Apple is the most respectful tech company when it comes to personal privacy. They're far from perfect in my opinion, but they are by far better than any of the others.

Apple privacy is like the fox watching the hen house. The hens will be chewed up the fox. Gathering fingerprint with your face and data plus siri spying on camera/microphone and location.

Apple, spying on citizens doesn't want to be spied on. Lol

I guess that doesnt apply to apple since they sold the icloud to the Chinese government for a tax break.

As the billionaire tech people don't let their children play on the internet or their phones like they make their profits off of other people's children that do. They knew what they were creating with this monster and people bought it as it was more important than family. That simple. They chose work and to let others raise their kids and the internet as a 2nd nanny /teacher of all sins to keep them occupied while they ran to do something else. Shouldn't have had kids is what they should have done.

What everyone needs is a hard set list of what data can and cannot be obtained, along with a list of the approved methods for obtaining that data and non approved methods. A real internet standard that all must adhere to, the world round. Right now especially prior to GDPR it was a lawless free for all. Anyone was able to collect and use and sell/trade data without any repercussions. Seems they want to keep others from doing the same moving forward, so they come up with GDPR, but that hardly undoes the damage done already and the massive databases of data some already have and continue to utilize and add to. If any company has data on any person and cannot show how it was legally collected they should be punished and the data destroyed. It is a form of theft that was left unaccounted for too long. Only since people started to become aware have they tried to act and make it right, but they still fail to address the underlying fundamental principals.

Internet Privacy is an issue mostly due to the lawless nature of the internet. If there are strict rules and regulations on how and what data can be obtained, that will handle privacy concerns greatly.

The flip side of the coin is that internet anonymity is only good in theory and not in practise. It only leads to facilitation fraud, scams, thefts, etc. It also makes it difficult to deal with and know who did what. It would be like no longer requiring license plates on vehicles. How do you track down a vehicle from a collision and prove beyond a shadow of doubt whom it was. The answer is you cannot, easily. Sounds familiar to Internet crimes.

The only thing these "privacy laws" are doing is ensuring standards that are unrealistic for smaller company's to fulfill. This is how they limit their competition from competing by enforcing ridiculous standards that carry high price tags to align with. In the end the privacy laws do not address the real issues and things continue the same as before except for them fleecing all the competition out of the market.

Also you should also be addressing China and their lack of privacy in all capacities, but that would be self-defeating even though it is True.
