How I made my Ghoul Cosplay #fallout

Creating a Ghoul cosplay was a real challenge. It was the first time I ever made multi-piece silicone prosthetic, and it took me three weeks to complete. Projects like these are my favorite because I love learning new techniques and experimenting with different ways to take my cosplay projects to the next level. Even though it can sometimes be a bit scary, not knowing if what I'm doing will actually work, especially with tough deadlines. This time everything turned out pretty well and I am super proud of it!

I am also incredibly proud of my partner Ralf, who worked with visual effects for the first time ever and had only three days to learn it. I think he did a damn good job!

A huge thanks also goes to @lazerlizcosplay , who applied all the silicone pieces to my face and made sure I looked good all day long during the video shoot.
Ghouls are now finally available as playable characters in the new season of Fallout 76!

Big thanks to Bethesda for this awesome collaboration and for keeping us busy with such cool projects! We really enjoyed bringing our Ghoul to life.

I.. I think this is beyond cosplay level?? You're literally on the level of prosthetic make up artist?? Like some movie production could hire you?! seriously I could see you working in that industry

A ghoul is a hard look to nail. They're meant to look gaunt and the features are sunk in. Prosthetics being additive tends to do the opposite and make things look bigger and the opposite of what you're looking for in a Ghoul. Stellar work!

As someone who grew up watching Face Off with my mom, this was so nostalgic to watch. Love watching the process!

This is absolutely INSANE how good of a job you did. I assume you've probably seen the behind the scenes from the fallout show, but your ghoul is like every bit as good as the show with a $150 million budget

this is honestly an outrageous amount of work and it shows in how ridiculously good the final look is. wow.

This is one of THE BEST cosplays I’ve seen in the 31 years I’ve been alive. It looks straight off the set of the TV show! You should be in the film industry if you’re not already. You could make some wicked movie-magic with that talent. ❤️

Just a small tip; if you were to offset the nostril canal higher and "damage" the upper lip, you can get a better sunken effect. Just would have to paint more of your nose dark to hide it.

It is so impressive to see how much work, time and craftmanship goes into this to make it look fantastic and detailed

Then there's the rest of us who complain that a craft is taking over two hours, with tea breaks. You are an inspiration to us all!

This is insane, as a cosplayer myself I love seeing work with tbis much love put into it. I mwan, this could easily be part of a movie!!! It genuinely warms my heart to see people put this kind of effort into something that a lot of people would just call a "costume". It's more than that, it's a passion and this person shows it so much more than almost anyone I've seen.

The eyes just tied everything together. With or without the vfx. Great job 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thats awesome! Not only that but if you want to, you can re-use those head pieces on any other projects and since its already separate you can also do a top face mask or bottom one without any problems

As soon as you started making the mold in the beginning i was so worried if you could breathe 😭

The combination of special effect make-up and visual effects is also the best choice for movies. Wish filmmakers weren't so lazy nowadays.

Wow you are so amazing. All I kept thinking was how much time and work you were putting into this and then I saw the finished product and like I said You are a wonderful artist. All that attention to detail makes you look beautifully grotesque.
