don't follow this guy's advice. The standard plates that he's pushing are steel. You do not want steel plates for body armor. You want plates made out of composite materials and finished with Cordura wrap. Go with Hesco.

Recommending body armor for cheap should be illegal. Youre literally pushing people who don’t know much to go out and buy cheap body armor. When you well know there’s way better armor out there. As a human you shouldn’t be here trying to convince people because your basically almost and should be liable for it if they lose their life.
