🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain that wind turbines convert the kinetic energy from wind into electricity by spinning and driving a generator. While wind energy is clean and renewable with low operating costs, it is unreliable due to its dependence on weather conditions and can pose risks to wildlife and aesthetic concerns. To manage this unreliability, wind energy is often used alongside fossil fuels, switching between the two based on wind conditions.
