One of the main use cases for the GBU-54 is to drop from very high altitude, above the cloud layer, insuring the bomb will make it to a general area regardless of weather/wind, etc and have either a JTAC on the ground, or a UAV buddy lase, to hit a specific target near that area. It allows the aircraft to stay outside the range of AAA and SAM targets and make an immediate egress after release, while the "guidance" is then effectively handed off to a hidden JTAC or UAV with no risk of loss-of-life. On a dynamic battle field with multiple ground and aerial elements, its a potent tool

Hi. Thank you very much. I bought the AV8 module and I am learning a lot with your videos. I came from the A10C II and F16, so I feel this plane a lot different in terms of sensors and how to employ weapons.

I fly A10C2 and I found laser guided bombs to be spot on accurate unlike GPS guided but GPS guided gives you greater flexibility of leaving hot zone once they are realesed.

There is a way to populate CAS page manually, with coordinates entry or through initial waypoint offset, this could be a future tutorial subject. Also, there was some talk about MGRS or UTM coordinates format usage where can those formats be entered and used? Great tutorials so far, most in-depth I have seen on Youtube!

Your videos got me to buy the harrier after trialing it. I've been loving the DMT, is there any tips to do accurate dumb bombing with it? I can't seem to do it accurate as it either lands right above or below the target. Many thanks!

If you had not fired the laser on the GBU54, would it have still hit the target and used the GPS guidance?

What's the max range of the rockets? I guess it depends on initial energy of the aircraft?

At 7.07 you can choose up to 10, not 9, that is what the Roman numeral X represents below the 9

Woah. Those guided hydras are awesome, a massive multiplier in terms of the number of soft targets you can take out in a single sortie.

How is the Harrier these days? I’ve not been flying in DCS a great deal this past year but I remember the Harrier had a bit of a bad rep for having pretty buggy systems. I recall there being some drama in the ED forums too?

Thanks for the video, informative and might get me in the cockpit again to have a play with these new toys :).
