Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Teardown! From 8/10 to 2/10

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds3 are the latest wireless earbuds from the South Korean manufacturer and this time around Samsung has abandoned the teardrop shaped design in favor of the long stems popularized by Apple’s AirPods.

They do look pretty stylish but what I find concerning is the possibility that Samsung may have also copied the zero out of ten repairability score of the AirPods too.

Ouf that looks so much worse than the Pro version. The clamp was a huge help when taking the Pro versions apart but I could see how that may factor into a low repairability score. Great video!

I’ve always imagined a pair of AirPods Pro with rubber gaskets and screws and no glue at all.
I hope someday it becomes possible to make them that way…

I've had my original budspro, the first one, been using it for 6 hours a day for about 4 years now, mostly with ambient sound on. My batteries are fine 😊

Do the earbuds themselves have a moisture indicator inside them to indicate if they have been submerged in water?

Repairability is the #1 reason why after buying one pair of airpods I'll never buy another. I tried and failed to replace the lithium battery essentially destroying the airpods in the process. No way I'm spending $100+ every time the batteries wear out. Disposable junk.
