Daryl’s character development throughout these seasons is literally insane and brilliant honestly. Season 1, when the apocalypse started and people were still learning about it, Daryl wasn’t a part of the group. Now, he’s a big part of the group, probably my first or second favorite character.

You see how they linger on that crossroads before rick says "that was the way back there!"? That's the bit of rebar that impales rick- the straight up bit in the centre of the shot, coming out of the concrete cube
