Hate when ppl dont leave enough space and ride on youre butt especially on the highway and in bad weather. One sudden stop and it's over.

Fog like this is deadly. It often seems thin and you think you’ll breeze through easily. To late you realize it’s thick and you can’t see but a few feet. OREGON has these, especially this time of year in damper areas. We call them “ground fog”. Most ROADS and freeways in Oregon now have larger wide reflective lines marking the outer edge of the road and inner edge, too. Saved me, over the years. I’m so sad for all involved in this huge accident.

The fog did not cause it, drivers caused the accidents.

Bad drivers who watched too many Fast and Furious movies and that don't slow down and allow more distance in heavy fog caused this.

Wow the semi driver was able to stop and didn’t even hit anyone

NIH has shown that there is a problem with perception in foggy conditions. Drivers feel like their going too slow and speed up. It's important to slow down and keep watch on the white lines. Use low beam if there are no fog lights.. May not keep one from running into someone, but it will be at a lower speed. I personally would turn on flashers

Could’ve been totally avoided if people would drive according to road conditions.

If you hit somebody you was driving too fast

Oh dear LORD, this is just terrible!! Prayers for all the souls lost in this pile up. I just shared this video to my 3 children who drive. From years of experiance driving, all over WV, OH, PA, and a couple other states. I know how some people drive in the fog and it's down right criminal negligence. Speeding along not being able to see more than a few feet in front of the car. If a deer is in the road, and cars are following to closely. Then there is gonna to be the situation that's in this video. 😢 Good job to all those that got stopped without hitting anyone else 👏. I would have pulled off the first exit I found if I got in that fog. Slow down brothers and sisters. We all want to get home safe at the end of the day.❤

AKA people in Louisiana don’t know they’re supposed to slow down and drive carefully WHEN THEY CANT SEE.

Stay at least 10 seconds behind in fog and get off the road

This is sad. I know some drivers who will not drive for the condition. They will still be weaving through lanes like they own the road. Hope no shots were fired....

Drove in dense fog and kept in the right lane, driving within what my headlamps showed.

Meanwhile cars flew past me ay 60 - 70 mph, oblivious to what was on the road in front of them.😊

Didn't a car or vehicle go over the bridge also?
