I realized that the secret to making a million is making better investment . I always tell myself you don't need that new Car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money invest : ng . For example last year I invested 70k in blue chip stocks and crypt0 s ( with the help of my advisor of course ) and made about 380k, but guess what ? I put it back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million . Delayed gratification always pays off

I love how if you post about crypto on youtube, the crypto scam bots will flock to your comments section like moths to a flame.

America is concerned with the environment? That's funny.

The amount of bots and or accounts attempting to affirm crypto or recruit people for particular services in this comment section is slightly concerning. Overall this video does outline crypto although I would have preferred another guest to give a dissenting opinion as well. Lastly, to Bobby the usage of geothermal/wind/solar and other forms of power certainly will help with the carbon footprint of Crypto but your example does not consider if on a global scale one would find those solutions. Overall it's a poor response to a serious concern.

I think I have between $25-75 in Bitcoin and I'm just watching it go up and down, mostly down. It's really only worth money if people buy into it, no different then investing, except a lot riskier because nothing "real"about it...

I'd argue that it's more likely that a digital dollar replace the current dollar than bitcoin.

"Cryptocurrency is all the rage in the dark corner of the web .." Is this guy serious? Did you just come out of a cave? What 'dark' corner? There are cryptocurrency derivative ETF products in multiple countries. That goes to show how clueless this presenter is about cryptocurrency. Also, lumping CBDC into the cryptocurrencies further shows again this person doesn't know the first thing about cryptocurrency. One of the main components of cryptocurrency is that it is decentralized at varying degrees. CBDC is the polar opposite of currency decentralization. Also, people binge watch, binge eat, buying luxury items that they really do not need. People spend countless hours on their phones doing completely mindless browsing. Yet nobody criticize electrical consumption and pollutions those things create. Bitcoin has utilities; unseizable store of asset, uncensored, advanced portability, capped supply.

I sure hope not.
Corporate Money
is not People Money
and means they can and will do a disappearing act - in this case I call them Concentration Camps since the average person will not know what hit them when the gas (and their problems) disappears.

There isn't enough in this article about how money works fundamentally. The idea that a fixed supply of money will ensure its value is misguided, no different that thinking that tying it to the value of a metal like gold will ensure money's value. Money has value because the government that issued it will accept it in payment for debts owed to the government, and in turn the economy uses the money in trade, and the economy is healthy. If you want a money system outside of that, it seems to me it will be highly volatile, and so, risky as a long term store of value. Crypto is essentially an accounting system floating outside of all governments, which is desirable for a lot of people, I get it. Unfortunately it isn't a good accounting system due to the underlying volatility.

Not one single crypto has increased the number of dollars. Where did the money come from.

This requires Internet connectivity. Parts of the unconnected world will not be able to use this.
