Quotient Topology and Identification spaces

This Lecture series on Topology is an initiation to help 2nd Semester MSc Math students of Calicut University and to help them to do the Course on TOPOLOGY. To begin with, we will discuss strong topology and specifically the quotient space. We conclude the lecture by characterising quotient spaces intrinsically and getting identification spaces. This allows us to enter into the world of algebraic topology.
