The only time that I saw that someone rigorously proving that quotient space of [-1, 1] is homeomorphic to circle.

At 32:33 you said point from -1 goes to (0, 1) and point 1 goes to (0, 1). Shouldn't be both -1, and 1 goes to (0, -1) ? Thanks
