Part of why "to catch a predator" went off the air was legal issues in the fact that they were technically airing, and tampering with, evidence. A couple of the cases got thrown out of court because the chat logs had been made public.
What they were trying to do is amazing, but they were getting in the way of legal proceedings. They did not want to do that, of course.

Siegfried and Roy still deny all allegations about the tigers being aggressive. He claims he had a stroke and the tiger was trying to help by dragging him off stage. The tiger knew he wasn't ok and tried to help but a tiger is a tiger and he bit him a bit too hard hence the "mauling". They still loved and kept the tigers after.

When working with wild animals, people always need to bear in mind that they’re *wild* no matter how tame they act. I don’t know if the illusionist thought the tiger was perfectly safe. Maybe he did, or maybe he kept its wild nature in mind. But either way, this can happen.

Actually ... Mantecor, who was the tiger that "attacked" Roy, didn't really attack him. He knew he was having a stroke ... so he but his neck instinctually to relieve the pressure, or he would have died. Roy has come out and said this. He saved his life.
