Noam Chomsky has such a clear eyed vision of the truth and such humanity that makes me happy to be living at the same time as him.

The world needs more Chomskys. He’s exposed the hypocrisy of our times for 7 decades

With Noam and a few individuals like him, I remain hopeful and optimistic that the world will continue to be guided to the truth and admits this chaotic world. Thank you, Noam.

This should have more attention than 10k views. Such a shame for one of the greatest intellectuals in the 20th/21st century.

Dont see Chomsky smiling often, but when he does - i have to say its heart warming. Just as landing on the moon was a huge leap for mankind, losing Chomsky will be devastating blow to mankind.

Bravo Mr Chomsky, sharp and accurate as always. It is annoying though, that the public here takes this talk as a show, childishly laughing not only when there are sarcastic remarks, but also, mostly, when terrifying facts are being presented..

How nice and touching someone can help end Noam speech by praising him for his indeed priceless service to mankind other than he ends alone most of the time!

I freakin' LOVE the efforts (being the king of linguistics) of his pronunciations for foreign languages & leaders.
It makes me feel like he gives a shit!

He was talking about Russia and Ukraine in 2015, and honestly, you can tell war was coming. We only just began considering the issue in 2021.

It's crazy how he and others spoke on the Ukraine issue then. And the fears are realized now.

How could you thumbs down Chomsky, really?! Disagreeing is one thing, voting down the video and not making a comment as to why, perplexing to say the least.

If Mr Chomskey would run for president of the world I'd vote for him

I often feel like I have become a Chomsky devoté since I hear truth about the most relevant issues mankind faces versus the nonsense news media.

This was very informative, as usual with Chomsky.

I didn't have any idea that Stalin suggested a Re-Unification of Germany under reasonable conditions.

I knew about Cuba & Turkey during The Missile-Crisis.

These are just two examples of the Soviets being reasonable. There were other Soviet Leaders with similar relaxation proposals.

Each time the United States' Foreign-Policy-Makers claimed the Soviets were "bluffing". They never even bothered to "call" the bluff because it was never about National Security, as Chomsky pointed out.

It was about Empire and crushing or weakening a powerful International Competitor :: an Economic / Military / Political Competitor.

If the United States had agreed they would have faced International embarrassment if _they_ had double-crossed the Soviets and consequently, The World !

Most important point he brings up is that when the USSR collapsed, NATO should have dissolved, instead it spread all the way to The Ukraine...terrible threat to Russia
