Trump faces legal setbacks with New York attorney general's lawsuit, Mar-a-Lago case

A federal appeals court ruled the Justice Department can resume using documents marked as classified that were seized from former President Donald Trump's Florida estate. Meanwhile, New York's attorney general filed a lawsuit against Trump and three of his children alleging more than a decade of fraud in the Trump Organization. The former president denied the allegations, calling it a "witch hunt." CBS News Homeland Security and Justice reporter Nicole Sganga joined Anne-Marie Green and Vladimir Duthiers to talk more about the ongoing investigations.

Love the fact that the 11th Circuit Appeals Court, which included 2 Trump-appointed Judges, in their ruling, completely rebuked Judge Cannon and essentially asked her the following questions: "What were you thinking? Why did you give what amounted to your own personal opinion instead of using sound Legal Logic by following the facts without prejudice? Why were you more concerned about Plaintiff's (Trump's) reputational harm vs. the potential harm to the Country's National Security?" Thank goodness, the Trump appointed 11th Circuit Judges were "honest brokers" on this one.

Please note that DJT stated on FOX that the transfer of documents “to MAL or to wherever” was deliberate and not a mistaken act of the movers. The notion that his ordering the removal of the documents to MAL was an act of declassification shows he’s grabbing at straws that have all been deemed too short by the 11th Circuit. FPOTUS perfectly described his own lack of fitness for office: "We can't have someone in the Oval office that doesn't understand the meaning of confidential or classified.” Garland should now charge all co-conspirators with violations of 18 USC Sec. 793, 1001, 1519, 1924 and 2071.
