Made this decision at 42 not 12 and still got it wrong... Scott, thank you for trying to save children from
this abuse....

My 15yr old daughter had one appointment with a pediatrician. After that one appointment, this licensed medical doctor asked me to sign up to give her hormones to transition. There are no safeguards to protect kids other than the parent refusing.

I would have fallen into the transgender craze if I was a teen in the late 2010s. I have high functioning autism and hit puberty at 9 years old. I wanted to be a man because I was stronger than my peers. I was also rejected by my peers for my weirdness. If I found out I would fit in by being trans I would do it. What stopped me from it was my faith, family and therapy.

I went through a tomboy phase growing up; Short hair, dirty jeans, bugs...you name it. Fast forward 20 years, I am now a happily married mother of two. Thank God everyone understood back then that IT WAS JUST A PHASE and allowed me to organically go through it.

This terrifies me cause my cousin went from a beautiful little girl who was literally just a tomboy to being corrupted by this shit and is now 19 and on hormones and has a deep voice and manly appearance. It was heartbreaking to see her like that. Devestating really.

The number of people that are Detransitioning is enormous and their stories are immensely sad and need to be heard.

I live in fear for my niece. My sister in law has had to hospitalize her 14 year old daughter because she has been corrupted by all of this stuff. She identified as pansexual at first, then lost her virginity and claimed rape just for attention.
If I were her mother, I’d pull her from school, cut her off from social media, and help her get better. My other niece, her sister, is 18, and scouting colleges to either become a lawyer or architect. She is literally the smartest person I’ve ever met. But her sister is so lost and mentally unstable and it’s killing her family.

I hate TikTok. I hate this trans-movement crap (I don’t hate trans ppl, I just hate that everyone needs to know everyone’s business) This country needs God and better schooling for our youth.

As a 23 year old woman who was physically, mentally, verbally, and sexually abused at 17 I can tell you right now that if I had been left alone to roam the internet after the abuse I would have probably fallen into the "sexuality/identity" trap myself. I wanted to hide my womanhood, I wanted to hide myself in general. I hated having a woman's body because of the way I was abused. I'm so thankful that my parents and other family members surrounded me with love, faith, support, and that I was in therapy with a good therapist who didn't participate in "gender affirming care". I learned to work through my traumas and to accept myself and my body. Now I am proud to be a woman, I'm proud of what my body is and what it can do, and I am SO thankful that I was kept safe by my parents from all this insanity. My heart hurts for other girls and boys who also endured abuse and turned to the hell hole that is the online trans community for support. I wonder how many other girls there are who are trying to escape their trauma by hiding under the label of being a man. Thank you Ben and Scott for speaking up and bringing awareness to the parts of this that nobody wants to discuss.

I can’t imagine doing something like what she did & regretting it. She was a beautiful woman. This is so devastating.

These stories where people are pushed to transition because someone else wants them to are so damn creepy. It feels borderline criminal.

Scott is such an important voice in our country's culture war. I am really grateful Matt introduced him to us in What is a Woman. My heart breaks for Scott and the physical and emotional pain he has suffered and is suffering. I love that he is using his experience to save others from this trauma.

Thank you so much for this invitation. I am Christian and am constantly praying for everyone who is going through this and the leaders who are criminals. This is criminal. To hurt people like this is not ok.

Male, 30. At one point in late teenage years my mind definitely felt more feminine and leaning towards feeling like a girl rather than a man. The idea of me being transsexual sprung from this and I was considering going to a doctor. This ended after losing weight and simply forgetting about the whole affair for a time. I assume that this was mostly due to hormonal imbalance due to my extra weight, eating wrong and not working out. Psychic unrest, depression and many other factors played their part, but switching gender was not the answer. I can very well picture how others feel going through the thoughts/feelings of transsexualism, but waiting is very important. A close male friend had the same experience, but today we're both healthy, exercising and happy men.

I’m a man who happens to be gay & I believe Ben Shapiro is a fantastic man. Very smart & well spoken.

I have so much sympathy for her and it's so heart breaking that everyone she talked to before transitioning kept telling her she looked like a man or intersex or something just because she didn't fit in to the social norm of the way women are "supposed" to act.
This whole agenda pushing this crap on children is just downright evil. I am all for shutting it all down all over the country because it's just wrong.

Autistic, bi polar, depression etc soooo common. Also puberty is awkward for everyone…. We need to support children through this not let them make permanent decisions.

It’s so sad to me that people are not getting help accepting their natural beauty.

I have chronic nerve pain from a minor testicular trauma that I suffered a couple years ago. The medical establishment is quite limited in what it can do to help. Based on this, when I hear about these super invasive surgeries on those sensitive areas I'm pretty doubtful that the results would be anything other than disastrous.

THANK YOU to Ben and Scott for this presentation! Many of us go through life never really feeling like we "fit in". It is not because we are "transgender" or because we are defective, but we may be different in some ways. As children it is worse, and our parents tell us that things will get better as we become grown-ups, and it often gets better. But this is not because we are in the "wrong sex body"--it is because we experience emotional distress. We may even have a form of mental illness, but it is usually anxiety and/or depression, which are so very common. We need guidance and maybe psychological support and/or therapy. Taking hormonal medication and having surgery will NOT effectively treat emotional distress. IF MEDS AND SURGERY WERE EFFECTIVE, THE SUICIDE RATE WOULD BE ESSENTIALLY ZERO AFTER "TRANSITION"--and it is NOT!

For the record, "sex" is the correct biological term--and there are male and female sexes for humans. True intersex is a very rare condition for humans and should not be a part of this discussion. There is a linguistic term "gender"; the English language has three--masculine, feminine, and neuter. I will probably get in trouble for "mis-gendering" someone at some point, but I really do not care.
