The Least Common 99s in OSRS (Data Visualisation)

I scavenged the internet for data and found how many 99s people had at different points in time. I then compiled it all into an excel spreadsheet and created a bar chart race which shows some very interesting shifts in the community.

I was the 4th person in the game to get 99 thieving on Old School, which was the 8th overall person to get a 99. That was 8 days after release. It was a sweaty week but thieving is overall very fast, I did pyramid plunder and I think most of the other people that got it around the same time as me did as well, I saw them occasionally in the pyramid. The guy that was 99 first maybe did blackjacking, they got 99 like 2-3 days before anyone else. Interesting it is uncommon but that’s the same way it was in RS3 at the time, fast but click-intensive with little reward so less people do it.

I think the reason hunter is so high up there is because you can finish all achievement diaries and skill clues with just level 69 and it has very few interactions with other skills. Although it's a faster 99 than some of those below it the level at which it stops being worthwhile to train except for its own sake is just so much lower than most skills which at least have requirements in the 80s-90s for clue scrolls and diaries which would in turn make them more attractive 99s

Remember Construction wasn't released at the beginning of OSRS. They had to rework it for some reason when OSRS was first released.

Thieving went up when the nerf was announced and delayed for so long at ardy knights

Watched this while on a long, tedious grind to 99 mining, saw that the skill has remained in the top 5 rarest 99s is an incentive to finish. Just hit 97

I like how Zeah runecrafting doesn’t make the skill better it just makes it more bearable

Mining bots have blown away the high scores lists. When training at blast mine I encountered multiple bots everyday with huge amounts of exp in the tens of millions.

Rune crafting is so much grind it doesn't surprise me. Agility is alright, you get shortcuts, but never struck me as a necessity

Agil and runecrafting have always been so relaxing for me. Something about the immense repetition gets me comfortable, and challenging myself with lap times and fast banking always keeps it fresh. Could not recommend high agility on an account any more, even if you don't go all the way to 99, people tend to overlook its major benefits.

Everyone give the vid a like seems like a quick video but the amount of research to get every number since 2014 takes a long time theoatrixx we owe you a lot I have followed many of ur guides over the years and not all skill related keep it up my guy
