my teacher made us do this back in the day:

2/3-1/5

2/3 X 5/5 = 10/15

1/5 X 3/3 = 3/15
Then subtract both numbers which is 7/10

You have to simplify that to 1/5 bc 7 divided by 1 is 1 and 10 divided by 2 is 5
