DJI Mini 3 - 6 Month Review

I've had the DJI Mini 3 drone for around 6 months now. I've used for everything from filming my e-bike and motorcycle adventures to scouting out locations multiple kilometers away. I've flown it in multiple environmental conditions, including rain, severe wind, and even at some locations over ten thousand feet in elevation.

I bought mine about a month ago in the UK for £579. It came with the RC control with the screen. I coming from the Mini 2 so don’t miss any of the pro feature. I’d have to pay another £400 to get a Mini 4 Pro. The camera is a marked improvement from the Mini 2, the Mini 3 is more responsive in flight and as you say quieter. Couple of negatives are the bag that came with the fly more combo is too small to comfortably fit the drone and accessories and there’s no propeller holder, and before I forget, they no longer supply charging plugs with drones.

DJI MINI 3 is great when come to BASIC drone service to client. The Drone is already at reasonable price and can produce amazing aerial footage.

Just bought this drone and had my mini-mavic that I brought with me to the Philippines... never even got this one out of the case -- mostly because I only had one battery where as the mini-mavic has 5 batteries. I look forward to using this.

First you have a new sub and the review you did was amazing. Very well done. I just ordered my mini 3 last week. I’m coming from a Dji mini and GoPro karma drone. Always love the controls of the mini and actually got really good flying it and capturing footage. With the mini 3 I know I am ready to make some Ariel footage I can actually show clients and my family.

Also you wouldn’t need a license when you go overweight. You simply have to register with the FAA, like $20 every 5 years. You only need a license when you are making money from the footage. But aren’t we all students in life? 😊

Would love a drone. Thank you for this video very clear and not a load of chat that wasn't needed. The quality of the camara is fantastic. I take it that when flying fast it would be better to use a 60 fps as to not be to blured?. Gonna save some pennies and look at the dji mini 3 pro.
