What are the top seller requirements? (quoted from Depop)

‘A Depop Top Seller is a user who sells a lot on the Depop app. They have a great sales history and are reliable users who maintain a great presence on the app.

To be considered as a Top Seller you must be either selling 50+ items at an average of £15/$20 for four months in a row

Or you must have sold items for £2000/$2600+ for four consecutive months

You must have an average rating of at least 4.5 stars

No recent infringements of our Depop Community Guidelines’

How to refresh / bump listings?

Listings recently added or edited show up higher in the Depop search results (when a shopper searches for an item). In order to help your own listings show up higher in the search results you can ‘refresh’/’bump’ your listings. To do this; click on your listing, click edit and click save. Your listing is then considered to be an edited listing so this will appear higher in search. Repeat this process for all listings.

Thank you a lot Lucy, I have made all the mistakes you mentioned but I still have Nikes and Adidas items and y2k jeans that have not been sold for many months despite my prices being some of the lowest on market...while PrettyLittleThing, Zara, TopShop, NewLook, Stradivarius EVEN PRIMARK (!!) were fast sold for better prices than I expected. LOL However my market is very small in European terms and cannot be even compared with the UK or Germany or the US markets...In all fairness I have daily buyers but my prices are super low and I list daily a few items...I really could not sell my 80's and 90's items that are in excellent vintage condition as my main buyers are mostly students who appreciate less these stuff and would rather get cheaper fast fashion items than in Zara. LOL So far I sold almost 400 pieces and probably my experience cannot compare with someone who is a top seller...

Hey! Just found your channel and I love your videos. Really helpful! I have some things I’d love to see if you get chance to make a video of them.
•daily routine
•how do you choose what items to list out of your stock? For example, when I buy new stocks I add them to my shelving that I have, and because they’re just added they end up being on the top, so when I go to choose items those are the first items I see and because I’m excited about them being new items I tend to list them first🤣 I also tend to list the “better” items and leave the less exciting stuff unlisted so I’d love a video on ur sort of process behind choosing what to list
•do you try to maintain a certain number of unlisted stock to work through, or do you try to keep on top of the unlisted stuff?
•and lastly, would love to see your set up! As in how you keep the clothing, listed and unlisted, how do you categorise them etc

Kind of a weird question maybe but my depop app looks different from what I see people showing in videos for some reason? I don't have those tabs at the top that say "explore, dna, feed". There is a suggested for you section but a lot of it is just posts I've already looked at or liked? Everything else seems normal and I've already sold a couple items but I'm just curious why i don't seem to have the explore page

I'm looking to start a shop & just watched your videos which are super helpful so thank you for taking the time. I do have one question around postage, do you always send tracked? I worry if I don't then there is a risk the buyer will say they didn't receive the item (even if they did!) cynical of me I know! But then tracked can be expensive & don't want to put people off...what is your thoughts around this?
