Cancer-causing ‘forever chemicals’ are contaminating American public water supplies — but these activists are fighting back.

In US news and current events today, these activists are speaking out against cancer-causing forever chemicals also known as PFAs chemicals getting into groundwater and drinking water supplies. PFAs can be found in products like Teflon and raincoats. But in places in Colorado and Michigan toxic levels of PFAS in the water are making people sick. The Trump administration block a toxicology report on PFAS.

That why billionaires want regulations lifted not because it's better for the people it's so they can cut cost because it's cheaper to just dump it where ever they want

I'm from Sweden. We have healthcare for everyone (no insurances needed). WHEN YOU HAVE A BABY IN SWEDEN everything is free except that you pay for how long you stay at the hospital. It costs about 12 dollars a night. So when I had my three kids I stayed 2+6+2 nights at a cost of about 120 US dollars. And thats all we pay for. The nights we spend at the hospital. Everything else is free. If you need surgery in Sweden thats free too. Expekt for the number of days you spend in the hospital (which you pay about 12 dollars a night for). If you need an ambulance in Sweden its free. If you are ill you never pay more than about 125 US dollars over the period of one year for medicin. So when you reach 125 dollars for medicin, the rest of the year all meds are free. And this includes for example cancertreatment, astma, epipen, diabetesmeds. Any meds. For a whole year of all medicin you might need (no matter what they cost) a sweede never pay more than 125 dollars.

Too little regulation in the US, there are very few safeguards for environmental controls. Dumping straight into freshwater is unacceptable.

I survived living in California for 10 Years & this is why I drank only rip-off bottled water (paying for drinking water? Seriously?), and NEVER Tap Water. Weak American standards for many things are a cruel joke. Thank goodness I left & returned Home to the UK.

I'm sorry but if I found this was happening in my area & I lost someone that I love to these murderers I would be pulling a fkg postal. Push back with bullets. This story makes me so sad & upset. Why would anyone want to live in America?
