"is she really alive, waiting for me?" is so relatable for anyone who had dreams at night of a dead loved one not actually being dead and somehow is alive again, this game really messed me up the first time i played, 2 years after my dad died and i had those desperate dreams. this game still gives me a broken feeling years later, this soundrack in particular

after months of therapy and all the right support from loved ones not working, this game finally helped me see that i wasnt responsible for my girlfriend taking her own life.

This track hits deep. The previous track establishes the setting, Mary, and even the mirror. But this coincides with hearing James voice, grounding his perspective and the whole quest being a fools errand. What great music direction

This song always makes me cry, Silent Hill 2 is my favorite game of all time, the story, setting, characters, music all of it is perfection. This game can never be replicated, thank you Team Silent.

This is a nice quality upload of one of the most powerful pieces in the entire game, hell, the entire franchise. Thank you! Silent Hill 2 deserves every ounce and drop of attention and adoration that it gets!

Two days before Christmas in 2018, my house went up in flames. None of my pets made it out, but I couldn't bear to see their bodies. My uncle buried them for me. That house was my home all my life until then, and my pets had been with me since I was eight. And just like that, it was all gone.

The next year, on my 20th birthday, buzzards unearthed the bones of my dogs, and I had to bury them myself. I never wanted to see their bodies, but this time I saw their bones, indistinguishable from one another. It made me sick to my stomach.

Then came 2020, and with it, the pandemic. Everything went downhill. In 2022, I went through the worst breakup of my life. And now, it's 2024, and my childhood best friend passed away on April 20th due to health complications.

And do I feel horrible? Like a victim? Do I cry all the time? No. I barely feel anything. I'm bored. It feels like nothing matters anymore. I just don't care about anything. Whenever any new harsh tragedy happens, I cry little for maybe 5 minutes at best but then I'm all better in a snap just like that. I wonder what's wrong with me. It's been well over 5 years since I've felt...normal...
