All New 2023 Focus Sam2 and Jam2 with Bosch!!

Focus just released the updated Bosch 750 Smart e-Mountain Bikes. The Jam2, with 150 rear travel and 160mm fork and the big hitting super enduro Sam2 with 180mm Fork and 170mm rear wheel travel.

The bikes feature removable batteries, completely revised frame and suspension design and kinematics.

Jam2 priced from £4899 (625 battery) to £6499 and carbon models are are priced at from £6199 to £7799. These carbon models feature the new Bosch integrated top tube displays and Mini Remote.

The Sam2 is priced from £4899 - £7699

That controller would definitely stop me buying the bike. They should have fitted the top tube integrated one.

I have that Sam 6.9 and it's a tank!!
Was hoping the newer version would have been lighter but you do get more battery..

I've got this bike and the weight isnt really a problem. It runs like a beast and very stable. I even jump with this bike much higher than my normal canyon torque.

I have a cube e bike that has that Bosch controller. It is a bit bulky but it does the job and feels sturdy unlike the new Flimzua controller. 😊

Was waiting on the ‘23 Sam2 but there were delays, opted for the ‘22 for a better deal, and so glad I did now. Other than the 650wh battery va the 750wh the 22 model seems like a better bike. Rear wheel setting and mullet option, looks better and has imho the better rear shock design.

I got an email from my local distributor today saying that the top of the line Sam will be running the new Bosch Race motor in Australia. Have you heard the same for you in the UK?

I've got one of last year's Jam2 & love it. I'm kind of underwhelmed by this new model. Maybe it's just me but it seems a lot chunkier in the bottom bracket/motor area, I guess, though, that's to accommodate the bigger battery.

Just saw the Olympia hammer in a news feed. 900Wh battery with 90 nM and full carbon frame. Apparently 6500 euros. With decent parts and some trick geometry and technology. Sounds interesting.

Ive been waiting for 2 year now for the new sam2 to come out, right now I'm just completely disappointed with what focus has done. The 2022 sam2 looks much better than this 😪

They fixed the Motor Protection thing 😉 but still a'bit Heavy compared to the competition, seems a'bit outdated already 😲
