Ohio State beat six of the twelve teams in the playoffs. The five teams they didn't beat all lost their first playoff game to a team Ohio State then beat. It was complete domination of the field

Gmac is tops in analyzing football.

As a Longhorn fan. OSU deserved to win the Natty. Tennessee, Oregon, Texas and Notre Dame was the very hardest path of ANY playoff team. Congratulations!! And prepare yourselves for the beat down Arch will give you game one at the Shoe!

Congrats to OSU from this Michigan fan. No hate from me. No trolling today. You guys earned it through and through. Look forward to The Game 2025 edition. The future of Michigan and OSU is bright which is good for college football. B1G reigns supreme. Well done Buckeyes. Great season. You made the playoffs enjoyable for me. Watching you guys dominate the SEC was amazing. Have a great day Buckeye Nation, you deserve it.

Greg is extremely gifted. I don't think folks understand how difficult it is to go 50% off the cuff, if not more, during an episode. Great analysis and unbiased breakdown.

Right now Ryan day has a step on every head coach including Nick Saban why because nobody has played a tougher schedule and quality of teams that Ohio state has just beat in this playoff top teams from each division in Ohio state has convincingly beat all of them no team has done that in college football history

I think this run is so impressive because the roadbto the championship. If a team like Penn State won, considering their first two opponents were Boise and SMU, I dont think it would be as celebrated. You can say anything you want about OSU, but they went through an insane gauntlet. Tenesse at home during a hostile time following a UM loss. #1 Oregon in the west coast, Texas in Arlington and now ND.

Kinda crazy that both times they added teams to the playoff system OSU won the natty and they wouldn’t have even made it to the postseason with the previous years rules.

Buckeyes QB Will Howard must be the happiest player on Buckeyes team today after winning the National Championship. In one year play at Ohio State, he 1) Took revenge on Penn State for not recruiting him, since he is a Pennsylvania native 2) He has beaten two SEC teams in this playoffs, including Texas which he could not beat in 4 years at Kansas State 3) He has beaten #1 Oregon in a decisive fashion at the Rose Bowl 4) He won the National Championship 5) In one year at Ohio State, he has sharpened and elevated his skills and confidence facing some of the top teams in the nation in a long season (16 games), that he is now ready to be an NFL QB

Dude, you are a really good analyst in real time. I was watching the video feed on ESPN and listening to Sean and you on ESPN radio in parallel. AND you can sum things up with your own thoughts just afterwards (some imposters steal lines from others...) GREAT WORK!

Ryan Days Buckeyes didn't win against Michigan, but aren't you glad you didn't fire him for that loss?

Greg you encapsulated everything so well. Congrats to Ryan and the Buckeyes. I am loving the expanded playoff -- more great matchups and less opt outs is good for the sport.

This is what the playoffs are suppose to be. They would have been left out if it was the old format.

ND game plan was putrid until they opened up the playbook.. I think they really thought they can run Leonard up the middle 40 times and win

Go Buckeyes! National Champs! I like how the 12-team playoff gives schools an extra chance to redeem themselves! Ohio State proved why the expansion to 12 teams was extremely important! Ohio State proved they could beat 2 SEC schools, Oregon in a rematch and Notre Dame! I hope that they keep the 12-team playoff format for next season as well!
