This is good for the big ten and the rivalry to have Michigan and Ohio State win the natty back to back

I have a lot of respect for Michigan fans who give credit when it’s due. Being a long time Buckeye, trust me after four years I appreciate it.

Pro move, Rich. Giving credit to your hated rival can't be easy, but it's the classy and correct thing to do. Kudos!

I don’t know how much of either fan base will admit to this, but Ohio State isn’t quite Ohio State without Michigan; and Michigan isn’t quite Michigan without Ohio State. They exist in a unique symbiotic relationship. That’s how you get the greatest rivalry in all of sports.

Rich is insane if he doesn’t think Michigan Fans were calling for Harbaugh to be fired. 0-5 against OSU and had a 2-5 season in 2020. There were PLENTY of UM fans calling for him to be fired at that time.

Crazy Ohio state was the first team to win in the college football playoff 4 team and now the first to win the 12 team expansion

The fact that the greatest rivalry in all of sports has produced back to back national champs is crazy.

Diehard UM fan here. I have to give credit. I was impressed. Looking forward to the matchup this November.

I never gave up on Day, but we absolutely had a loud vocal bunch that did. Beyond happy for Day and those seniors though.

ND played miraculously. The 2nd team all year to put up over 21 points on the Buckeyes. Really played their best game so hats off to them.

"We didnt abandon our coach." That is not true. Many Michigan fans wanted Harbaugh gone at certain points.

Got to give it to Notre Dame to make it a one score game. They never gave up and made it a very good game. Much respect to all those young athletes on both sides.

WOW, this is a nice change of pace. The amount of Wolverines I see on Instagram saying the most horrendous, discouraging things about this Buckeye team is insane to me. This gave me a little bit of hope about you Wolverine fans. Excited for the big game in Ann Arbor this upcoming season, Go Bucks!

It took Jim Harbaugh 16 years to win hs one and only National Title at age 60. Ryan Day won his first after 6 years at are 45

Thank you *ichigan for giving us the motivation to win the national championship!

Very hypocritical to call out Buckeye fans for being upset with Day after losing 4 straight and being 1-4, when mich fans were calling for harbaugh to be fired after going 0-3, 0-4, then 0-5 prior to cheating to beat Ohio State

Michigan fans are exhausting. Lol

LITERALLY just 5 years ago they were calling to fire Jim Harbaugh before they went on this 4-0 run.

What is Rich even talking about?

Rich looks like he personally won the game in that thumbnail! Congratulations BIG10! College football dominance.

I think Ohio State winning the natty against Notre Dame the year after Michigan won it all is the sports gods keeping things perfectly balanced

I’m way too old to ever say that beating Michigan doesn’t matter. I’m proud of my team and coach Day. Now beat that damn team up north next year.
