I got extreme motivation to study and work hard when a Teacher - who was spending a lot of time with me and I'm not sure what else was going on - suggested I could be President of the United States. It came up once after an election where I participated as a candidate but you would not believe how motivation can easily be misunderstood. I truly motivated myself well when I was younger where I had ability. But I think I would have been better off if I'd been motivated to .... well, everyone has problems. I've actually researched many fields and it is amazing that even with all of the challenges and problems and obstacles that people honestly and truly are motivated over and over and over again to succeed. Whether they get beaten up in Football or run themselves ragged in Basketball or drive themselves crazy with textbooks they work to over come and believe they can achieve.
