The hatred for JJ Rawlings has manifested so well in the posture of Andy. He consistently pushes his guest to side with him in blaming JJ for all the wrong doings. I listened to the Interview granted with Adaduga and my question is if indeed JJ Rawlings is a "coward" and upon all your smartness and greatness as a soldier, after taken over GBC you still couldn't see the cowardness in Rawlings and still led him to make the pronouncement of the takeover. I can't still think, how JJ Rawlings being 'coward' will still remove him from jail by so called smart soldiers to lead the coup. Ah! 😂 You know the man is a coward and you still want him to lead. It is funny how Ghanaians have been outwitted by these Machiavellian characters like Afrifa and Rawlings. They are all mirror reflections of each other, same personality traits. The lay man will not comprehend this. All they see is Afrifa is a hero or Rawlings is a hero, depending on which camp you are from, meanwhile these two had mastered the art of deception and were playing the game very well. Regrettably, one had to get shot at the end. These are very clever individuals. When Afrifa wrote a letter to Acheampong that he suspects they will be shot, all Ghanaians could read into the letter was that he had a premonition. Nonsense! He knew the game well and he was putting himself in the shoes of his potential enemies. So, he was working with intel nothing superstitious. He was no magician but a clever soldier. This was a man who graduated from the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst. Rawlings just beat him to his own game. RAWLINGS and AFRIFA are the opposite sides of the same coin; Machiavellian and skilled in the Art of Deception. Eliminate your enemies or you get eliminated. Leave tribalism, family, religion out of this. It is just a dirty game. My fellow Africans, this is why you have to READ BOOKS, THINK, READ BOOKS and THINK otherwise just a few people will control your minds. Suffice to say, AFRIFA was no saint, same goes for Rawlings.

Treacherous group of people. Afrifa was Nkrumah’s golden boy. Acheampong was Busias golden boy who had incidentally been recommended to Busia by Afrifa. Kotoka was the main brain behind Nkrumah’s overthrow. Afrifa was his subordinate who was very popular with the troops. Akuffo was Acheampongs second in command. He betrayed his boss and allowed Rawlings and his cronies to march them all to their deaths.
Acheampong warned them that there would be bloodshed in Ghana if his own side overthrew him. They didn’t listen. At the end he was the only one of the lot who had no fear. He even waved his white hankiie on his way to the shooting range.
