This is so true, it’s not even funny. I do more than I think in my backswing. Thanks Eric, keep this going

Stopped playing golf for about 8 months after COVID and my handicap went from a 10 to about a 20.

Found Cogorno golf and my swing is slowly getting back and better than before. Thanks Eric!

Best tip I think I have ever seen as my backswing is already short!!!!

Great drill to do on the course to get the right feel for sequencing the downswing as a practice swing before you hit the ball.

Starting the downswing sooner!!! How I wish I had that advice years ago!! Awesome Eric!!

Once again, this video is speaking directly at me! I started doing the float load drill this week and saw excellent results. This one might be a bit more intuitive and is definitely going to be a part of my daily warm-up! Thanks for the awesome content man

I always swing hip high to hip high, especially when I’m not able to hit the ball solid. Never thought of it to finish though. Just try it in my basement, hitting to the net. It felt very powerful! Can’t wait to try it at the range and course

If content quality equates to followers you’d have well over a million. The real YouTube golf Goat.

Another fantastic video! This video combined with the “hands beat the club to the wall“ drill are amazing for solid contact and great compression and low point control. I think you’re channeling your Tommy Fleetwood with that move! I heard that he was using those two drills and was hitting it so well that he and his coach did exactly what you suggested in this video - which was he just decided to go play golf like that - seems to be working out well for him 😁

This is exactly why my half wedge shots carry too far, on some days. I need to incorporate this into my “full” swing. Those half shots always feel amazing, with great compression, and ball flight. I really, really needed this, Eric. Great stuff!

Hi Eric, could you demonstrate this with the Driver? It's worked wonders for my irons!

Love it! Great video. Transition is the major issue in the golf swing, as I either get (1) took quick from the top (2) excessively handsy …. Both stemming from me trying to hit the ball from the top, which is my death move. Trying to “start the downswing sooner” is as good as it gets. I do have a very short downswing, but I love the concept of “trying to swing as you fast as you can” or trying to “create as much speed as possible” into a full finish. I will take these pieces to the range as see what happens! Thanks again for creating and sharing another informative video. 👊👊

Love this! Exactly what I’ve been working on.

Love this drill, when I tried something similar last year, my “hip high” feeling was actually almost shaft parallel at the top. Will definitely be doing this a bunch to start the year and keep my backswing from getting too long.

Great drill. Looks like a video you did with Mike Malaska. That video was an “aha moment” for me.

Hi Eric. Great video as always. What’s happened to the 1 to 9 series you were doing. We only got set up, (1) then takeaway (2) now it’s all gone quiet on the western front. 👍
