First, a born, raised, and still call Montreal home. However, have visited places like New York, Chicago, London, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Seattle, among others. And I can honestly say that Montreal, with it' mix of old and new, quirky and friendliness, convenience and diversity, can hang with the best of them. Never mind Old Montreal or the Plateau the downtown stretch from Sherbrooke St. to the north, Atwater St. to the west, Rene Levesque Blvd. to the south, and PAPINEAU Ave. to the east is a treasure in itself.Whetjiher you're a tourist, student, or resident it's hard to top.
