Good Morning! I guess I forgot to mention how long Ultherapy lasts. Results from a single treatment are supposed to last from 12-18 months. xo ~angie

The honesty in these videos helps woman make informed decisions. Reading the comments of viewers experiences, pros and cons, for and against, and their reasons for the way they feel, creates a clear impression of an experience, without having to go through it.

I’m 70. I had double chin at 40. At 45, I had lower face lift. Excellent results on jawline and neck. A few years later my ENT doctor said stitches were expertly done inside rims of my ears. I could wear my hair back and no evidence of surgery. $4, 000

I've had Ultherapy once a year for four years. Across time, collagen builds and builds on the collagen from previous years. The overall effect, compared to my peers, is AMAZING. Use pain meds! I don't tell people I've done this. They think I just have great genes and am younger than 72 years old.

I had the full face ( sans neck ) done back in March, when I started my “55” mile tune up.
I was actually given an Rx for Tramadol. Just one or two pills, can’t remember because I didn’t
take them. ( Tramadol makes me sick, and never helps with pain )
The day of, I was slathered with lidocaine and given a squeeze ball for when it became intense.
Like you, at the beginning I thought “easy peasy!” and then it became so bad I had tears streaming
down my face. I began to feel nauseated from the pain and almost stopped, but then I was told I was almost
done, so we took a break and then powered through.
It took about an hour.
Like you said, as soon as the procedure ends, so does the pain, but I was extremely tender, especially near my jaw line for
a day or two.
My cost was $3, 500.

One thing you didn’t mention is if you don’t have enough collagen left in your face, the procedure
will not work at all for you.
So in some woman, say, late 60’s- 70’s, this probably won’t work at all.
(because of the lack of collagen as we age.)
This, of course, depends
on the individual.
Some older women may be
great candidates!

Since paying three months of mortgage on Ultherapy ( 6 mos. now? ) I have seen
zero results. I was going for an all over tightening of my face, but I really wanted to get rid
of the tiny jowl pockets.
That didn’t happen.
Since then, I have seen several PS, or board certified dermatologist debunk this type
of skin tightening as hokum.
A waste of money and straight out said “ Do Not Waste Your Money!”
Great for me, as I’m not a youtuber and paid full price for an hours worth of pure
agony.

In July, still hating my saggy jowl pockets, I was talked into getting Silken Threads.
3 on each side. “instant lift!” I was told. another 3k ( on special!)
it did nothing. It wasn’t at all painful, but all it did was empty my bank account.
Then, I see a very well known PS debunk the threads. He even did a video showing why
it’s impossible for them to work.

The PO info says you MUST sleep on your back for two weeks following the procedure,
and if you don’t, it will effect the end result.
Well, I tried to sleep on my back, but during the night I would automatically turn on my side.
Another 3k with zero results. And I had been shown some much older women with amazing
end results. ( of course, they don’t say if any other type of procedure or injections were done )

So my advise? Get a neck lift if you’re that unhappy.
My advise to myself? Get a lower face lift for my jawline.
Nothing else will work that is currently on the market.

And the worst part is, if you get zero results you have no recourse.
No refund, no credit towards something else, like fillers or dyspot. ( which I love!)

All sales final.

Ultherapy was torture with zero results and I wouldn’t recommend this, or any procedure like it
It to anyone. And this includes those damn threads. POD, or Silken. All a waste of money.

In your before and afters, I did see a small improvement. Small.
For those of us who have to pay, the difference is not worth the pain or the cost.

That’s my 2 cents.

Luckily, as baby boomers I think we will see a lot of new and Improved procedures in the next 5 years.
Maybe some that actually work really well.

I had a full facelift, eye lift and neck lift when I was 48. I'll be 61 on Sunday. Was worth it and has lasted. Would rather do the surgery. Thanks Angie for your experiment.. You look beautiful as always

I see a difference. The fact it doesn’t require surgery, anesthesia etc is a. If plus. It looks much more natural and less “plastic surgery-like”. Very nice.

Angie, what I like about your videos is the subtle changes that occur after the various treatments, lotions, devices, etc. that you use. After watching this post, I went to your homepage and watched your intro video from 5 years ago. WOW! Everything you are doing has made you look 15+ years younger. And the best part is none of these procedures, lotions, etc are drastic and are completely doable. Thank you for all you do and you are very inspiring!

My sister had this done on her forehead. I thought the results were remarkable. She also had her microblading on her brows, Botox and a tiny bit of filler in her lips. I'm sure all of it worked together to make the improvement. I hadn't seen her in about 6 months and I was blown away by how much more youthful she looked. Especially her forehead. She is 51 and a heavy smoker.
Edited to add that I see a great improvement. To me, it would be worth it. I see discounts offered on this where I live quite often. It is still expensive.

I think it’s a lovely outcome for the “no surgery, no downtime” procedure. And since you don’t have to pay for it, it’s a win!

Angie, I know this is 3 years old, but I have to chime in! About 6 years ago I had Ultherapy done, full face, & omg it was so painful. The worst was on my forehead, where it triggered a weird electrical storm across my SCALP (not where the machine was) that left my scalp feeling bruised for weeks. Looked at before and after pics 3 months out, then 6 months out, AND SAW NOTHING. If anything, I think it temporarily deflated my cheeks. At 9 months, the doctor & I looked again, and even he had to admit there was nothing. I still feel stupid for having wasted all this money, and I've told no one.

I really appreciate how much attention you put into the details. Thank you for all of those video and photo angles!

This looks great and I know you’re not the most excited about the result but it looks great and of course stimulating your own collagen seems better than the surgery for some people. This is the best video I’ve seen so thank you, thank you!

There is a huge difference for a non surgical procedure. Good job! Great before and after pictures. Thank you for this very informative channel.

Your results are great, especially for a free treatment. I agree that there is marked improvement in the definition of your jaw line. Also the slight wrinkles on your neck appear to be smoother. Overall laxity in the treated areas is noticeably inproved. I'd call that a win! You look gorgeous!

I had ultherapy on my lower face and jawline this summer. I did not experience the pain that others seem to have experienced. In a spot or two, it felt as thought I was zapped (like a rubberband on my skin), but that was the worst it felt. I did not take any pain meds. I did not experience any swelling or bruising - only some tenderness for a few days at my jawline. I will say, though, that I have been told by some doctors/nurses that I have a high pain threshhold.

I am already seeing some tightening on my jawline! If this continues over the next 2-3 months, then I will be very pleased, and will get another treatment in a year or so. I am 53.

I had my forehead done several years ago. It was so painful I had to do child birth exercises during the procedure. Because of the pain, I was thinking it would be so worth it in the long run. Sadly, I saw no improvement. The Doctors office thought there was a very slight difference with the before and after photos, but I am convinced the only difference was the slight angle change of the before and after photos. All I can say is it was painful both physically and financially.

When I inquired about this process and I was told I would need a driver home because of the pain Keller they gave you I decided not to do it. That was also one of the reasons I purchased the NuFACE . I read the instructions (and I did purchase 2 extra attachments) but I have found the best instructions from The Organic Esthetician! She explained how and why this system works which was amazing and did demos on how to use each attachment and what kind of gel you need for the light attachment. I am seeing results from using this product and I am so glad I purchased it. I think if we live long enough we will all age, but I just want to do it gracefully! Thanks 😍

One of the best reviews on Ulta therapy because of the different angles and neck movement.

Know you wanted BIGGER results but for a “lunch time” procedure with zero downtime, those results are phenomenal!!! That little bit of sag at the jawline is sooo aging and it really reversed that by... 5 years, I’d say👍🏼
