Tried to file Divorce of my Filipina wife, but a Family Court Judge Lu, here in Reno, Nevada stated The Hague Convention agreement with the Philippines about 2 years ago, prevents divorce ? I have been Separated from her since Nov 29, 2019. We had a Civil wedding in Nueva Ecija in July 2016…August 2018 she was Denied Spousal Visa to America. She suddenly changed her mind and took the remaining P2.8 million out of our joint Metrobank & BDO accounts. Relieved to discover D will be Law soon !

Hello po atty i hope masagot nyo po eto, tungkol sa Recognition ng Foreign Divorce. Kasi po may decision napo yung judge sa RTC at naisulat dun ay Partially Granted. Sabi nman ng atty na naghandle ay hintayin nlang daw ang finality, June 11, 2024 pa po naipadala sa OSG, PSA, OCA etc. pero hanggang ngayun wala parin balita tungkol sa finality. Sino ho ba mag proprocess/ o nagbibigay ng certificate of finality? thank u po atty.
